Benwick Painted Oak Light Grey Door

Completed in Stockport, this project posed a unique challenge due to the small space in the room and the need for wall to wall fitted wardrobes. The customers wanted a traditional bedroom style and opted for Benwick painted oak in light grey.
The challenge was accepted by Fineline Interiors, our truly bespoke fitted furniture designed and manufactured by ourselves meant we could utilise every corner of the bedroom. We designed and installed fitted wardrobes to the right of the room, a bridging unit above the bed and chest of drawers on the opposite side of the room. We also added bespoke bedside tables to the customers requirements.

The starting point for the project was lowering the ceiling and putting spot lights in to create a more contemporary feel to the bedroom. Then having listened to the customers’ needs, Mica designed the bedroom in our Benwick Painted Oak range in Light Grey.
The design includes a clever “under the bed” storage solution. The design also includes a large corner L shaped wardrobe which has created a vast amount of space for their clothes. The couple loved the idea of a mirrored headboard feature, giving the illusion of the room appearing larger, and to finish the room off we added a set of drawers.
We’ve brought calmness to this room by concealing clothes etc behind these beautiful made-to-measure doors, complete with stunning flooring, it truly is an amazing space.
Much more than a place to sleep, this bedroom is used for watching television and reading, this retreat reflects our couple’s personal style and creates a feeling of sublime comfort, with the addition of neutral bedding and decoration for timeless comfort and style.
